
Today, Thursday the SC PD released the reports of Tuesday night's burglaries, There was no new info concerning the ReStore,
previous article is HERE, but much came to light concerning the Harrison Schmitt School break-in. Though the school personal claimed all doors were locked the cops on scene could find no evidence that their was a break-in after investigating all doors leading into the building.
The new estimate puts the number of iPad tablet computers stolen to at least 22 of various models with an average of $400 each with some cheep cases, a cheap Digital Camera and most troublesome cash and checks left on the premises in spite of this not being the first break-in. The monies so far known as taken are, according to todays police report, $525.00 worth of checks donated to the Shop With A Cop program. Why was this and other money as cash kept on the premises? The other money left on premises as cash was: $84 for field trips; $50 "spencil money", whatever that is; a bag of coins worth $21; "Pennies For Patients" $60; all $680 collected by or for the students.
