The single most important infrastructure is nature. That which is protected from the hand of man, not allowed to be exploited for money and gadgets that bring more cash to those who are now assaulting those protected places like the 500,000 acre Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks and other monuments, parks, refuges, national forests and rivers (like the Gila, not protected but a vital artery of the local planetary infrastructure).

Those who come and rape and go never sleep and now they want Hanover Mt; blow it up and create a pit for a few tons of copper, gold, and what other minerals they find and truckloads of cash for the CEO's and stockholders and we get another scar upon our community and the land.

As they take Hanover Mt the monitoring groups will be watching that they don't pollute the air and water "too" much as if the Mountain didn't already do a better job.

Our own US Representative Steve Pierce, who wants to be governor leads the assault on our public lands nods his head when he sees the scars of exploitation and says "now this is what its all about" while Edward Abby and the monkey wrench gang convulse in their graves.

Photos taken Friday July 28th 7:45 pm in case you missed the double rainbow. Confined to the work place, clued to the TV or Netflix or bent over in texting we miss the beauty but also the destruction of nature's planetary infrastructure,
