7th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival
Friday, April 27, 6:30 pm
WNMU Light Hall Theater

The Gila Conservation Coalition will host the 7th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Friday, April 27 at WNMU's Light Hall Theater.

Doors open at 6:00 pm and the show starts at 6:30 pm. Admission is $15 at the door and students are free. Admission for GCC members is $12. Admission plus GCC membership can also be purchased at the door for $20.

We've got a great selection of films (https://www.wildandscenicfilmfestival.o ... servation/) that highlight this year's 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. Conservationists on the front lines of protecting our rivers, forests and wild places will talk about their work and introduce our film selections.

Special guests include: Mark Allison of New Mexico Wilderness Alliance, Teresa Martinez of the Continental Divide Trail Coalition, Mary Lynne Newell of the Great Old Broads for Wilderness, and Deb James of Securing Economic and Energy Democracy (SEED) of Southwest New Mexico.

And we'll be giving out some terrific raffle prizes from our National Partners like a swanky water bottle from Kleen Kanteen and super cool messenger bag from Peak Design.

And in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, we'll be raffling a hat that features the 50th anniversary logo, donated by local businessman Bob Wilson's Crown Trails Headwear. Raffle tickets are free with admission to the festival.

Thanks to our local sponsors!
