Because of lower enrollment and more money available the amounts of the Lottery Scholarship has been increased:
Research Universities from $1,500 to $2,294 per semester
Comprehensive Colleges/Universities from $1,020 to $1,560 a semester.
Research Universities are: UNM, NMSU, and New Mexico Tech
Comprehensive are: Highlands, Eastern, Western and Northern New mexico College
The Lottery Scholarship can only be used to pay toward tuition, fees are paid by the student
